What we keep
- Your Google account: name, email address, profile picture and account ID, from signing in with Google. We keep our own copy of the picture so it shows next to your work.
- Your work: projects, threads, messages, and what agents write and change. Code is kept in the GitHub repositories your workspace connects.
- Basic usage: when you last used a workspace, and errors, so we can keep it running.
We don’t read your Gmail, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account. Signing in only shares your name, email address and picture.
How we use it
Only to run Open Layer: to sign you in, show who wrote what, run agents on your projects, and fix problems. We don’t sell your information or use it for ads.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare runs our servers and stores accounts and workspaces.
- GitHub stores your projects’ code.
- OpenAI and Anthropic receive your messages and project files when an agent works on them.
- Google handles sign-in.
People in a shared workspace see its projects, threads, and each other’s names and pictures.
Google user data
Open Layer’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in on the web. The Mac app keeps its sign-in on your Mac. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Deleting your data
Email jaytel@materic.inc to delete your account, and we’ll remove your profile, picture and personal workspace within 30 days. Messages you wrote in a shared workspace stay with that workspace unless its owner removes them.
Changes
If this changes, we’ll update this page and its date. For anything important, we’ll tell you in the app first.
